Last Not Busy Day(:

So today I was in the baby room all day & there were not that many kids. We did a couple arts & crafts today (both including glitter thanks to me hehe) it was really a chill day since it rained & there was no school(: Then i came home cleaned, ate, chilled on the couch with London, took a shower, & I'll be going to bed soon(: Tomorrow is the workers Christmas party, Wednesday is the gringo party, Thursday I get my nails done & my dad & lindzee get here, Friday we'll prepare for the party, & Saturday is the party!!! Woooo(:

Last Sunday Here For 3 Weeks!

Today, I went to church & then did absolutely nothing!  Well, i changed my turtles water & kind of started making bracelets. I really just relaxed because this week is going to be way hectic! I've got Christmas parties galore almost every night lol & I'm getting my nails done at some point. Oh! And my daddy will be here thursday(:


So, in conclusion, today was a lazy day!(:

'Tis The Season

So today I did laundry so I could ppack (for Christmas), I wrapped presents for the kids (for Christmas), & packed so i could...come home for CHRISTMAS!(: I'm so ready for Christmas & to see & visit with everybody(:

Oh little karlita just turned 1 last week & today I found a giant tick in her hair it was SO sad! I  would totally just take her as my own & raise her if her mom would let me. Other than that I got ready for the Christmas party, took care of the kiddies, then waited for Robin's sister, then went shopping in Rosarito(:  & that was the extent of my day(:

Loooong Day

Today was my last 12 (or 13) hour day woooo!(: The daycare hours were pretty chill there weren't a lot of babies in the baby room. And let me just say how amazing it is when I walk in the room in the mornings & they scream my name...it's flippin amazing!(:  The part of my day after that where I watched the kid's for the mom's bible study was hectic lol there were so many kids & they were running everywhere lol but it went rather well for  having 20-somethin kids(:

Well today i went to work & it was an eventful day i would say! Most of the kids had seemed to lost their minds & were behaving like a bunch of hooligans (but i still love them) & then i got vomited on, that was not so fun lol Then after work I went to tacos (possibly the best tacos ever!) & crepas with some friends. That was really fun! Now I am at home getting ready for bed &  my last 12 hour day tomorrow (woohoo!)

Boring Day For Ashley

So today I had to stay home because I have a cough that sounds like I've been smoking for 50 years & I can't breathe out of my nose! So, my day consisted of watching youtube videos, watching a tv show online, & facebook. But, this morning Mari (the cook) brings me a giant cup of hot chocolate & asks what I've eaten, & when i answer cereal she is not happy lol she says i need to drink lots of liquids & also says that she's going to make me vegetable soup for lunch! Oh how i love that woman & her delicious food(:

'Tis the Day of Birthdays!

Today on the seashores of old Mexico we celebrated 6 birthdays! I spent most of my morning in the Bodega putting presents together (one of my favorite things) & then spent the rest of the day in the baby room with my kids(: My accident for the day was I went up to Heidi's house to find batteries & slammed my finger in the door so now my pinky is disformed  & the wrong color lol it's all good though!  Well I think that's pretty much it lol

Up Until Now

Well I got here august 8^th 2011, a couple weeks after I turned 18, & I absolutely love it! I have met a lot of amazing people & have already had some amazing & memorable experiences. The kids are amazing, the food is amazing, the people are amazing (most of them), & the culture is amazing. My favorite kid is Nahomi (as R1 stated) she is the cutest little brat ever & I love her with all of my heart(: Okay, so you all know that I’m a fat kid at heart so I have to say that the food here is to DIE for, so if I come back fat it’s because Mari & Robin spoil me!  But, almost every morning I drink coffee + hot chocolate mix + creamer + sugar so I guess its kind of my fault too lol

& just to reassure you all I don’t have a secret boyfriend in Mexico(:

I live in MEXICO.YAY!!!

I work at a no-cost day care and have the best roommates EVER!!!!!!!

R1 is the wetblack. She walks around singing questionable songs very badly. 

R not 2 is not a wetblack and is slightly less awesome than R1 because of it. She walks around singing songs not as "badly."

In our house coffee is consumed more than water, bacon is basically a spice since it (or its grease) is used to give all other food flavor and if you have the misfortune of not being present when dinner is served there is no guarantee that you will eat.

The kids are awesome and cute, despite the snot, drool, and other unmentionable nasties.  

My fav kid is named Nahomi... pronounced by R1 as Nawhomie. She is super cute and has two older siblings.

My fav food down here is EVERYTHING. It’s all fried and delicious. MMMMM. 

I have developed an addiction to hot chocolate mix + a bit of coffee + sugar. R1 does not approve. R not 2 drinks her coffee black. 

R not 2 has a dog. He thinks he own the place. He tries to get me to feed him extra food. Ashley don't play that game. 

Oh it’s time for the disclaimer: Ahem, I am not living in Mexico because of some guy. Sorry skeptical family members, maybe next time.
